Concrete Contractors.
Providing the North Carolina construction market with expertise,
professionalism and hard-working experienced crews has always
been our goal at Tri-City Contractors. Our support staff has
the ability and knowledge to work with you on all phases of
concrete construction. We specialize in excavation, basement
construction, waterproofing, concrete floors, stamped concrete
and exterior concrete surfaces.
At Tri-City we have worked with all levels of contractors,
from the individual building his own home to the designer/architect,
developer, home builder and real estate personnel.
We bring over 70 years of upper level management experience
that allows us to man and complete as many as ten basements
a week.
To compliment our field personnel, we provide expert AutoCad
plan review for dimentional correctness. This allows us to
discover any errors in the plans and avoid costly mistakes
in the field. Also, we provide two layout crews with the latest
computerized surveying equipment to locate the house corners
in each phase of construction.
Tri-City has and will continue to provide the highest quality
and excellence in above and below grade concrete construction
to our customers in the North Carolina market.

Foundations
Our fully engineered concrete basements provide
the builder with a structurally sound, watertight foundation
which is the basis for building a high-quality home
and providing that highly desirable additional space,
for recreation or expanded living space, at a very reasonable
price.
Since much of the terrain that we encounter in our market
is easily adaptable to basement construction and the
home design requires no additional roof construction
to provide a basement, we need only to further excavate
the soils, which we can use in grading, and take the
foundation to basement depth. This space can be finished
with the original construction or at a future date.

Waterproofing
Although solid concrete walls are highly impervious
to water penetration, they will absorb moisture unless
properly waterproofed. Tri-City uses Deco Products waterproofing
system to achieve the best waterproofing available and
the customer receives a 25 year written warranty from
the manufacturer and Tri-City contractors.

Technology in the concrete forms manufacturing business
has allowed for great advancements in the use of concrete
in home building and has begun to penetrate the U. S.
market. Tri-City, in keeping with its philosophy of
being leaders in housing technology, has constructed,
in Raleigh and at Topsail Island some of the first residences
of this type in the country.

Our commercial department has completed many negotiated
projects across North Carolina. We specialize in foundations
for buildings for below grade space as well as slab-on-grade
construction and commercial retaining walls.
